Bueno, no es sorpresa que muchísimas cosas censurasen en el anime, no solo ocurrió en la época retro, actualmente es incluso mas severa la censura, muchas veces justificada, y otras pues no tanto.

Ah sí, el viejo truco del reino de las sombras para encubrir la crueldad de la serie. Faltó el asesinato de Pegasus por parte de Bakura que se da en el manga, pero en la serie se cambia a "mandar su consciencia al reino de las sombras" (lo cual irónicamente lo hace el primer personaje de la serie en ser mandado allá y regresar).

Esa ridícula censura se pudo haber evitado fácilmente colocando la serie en la categoría para adolescentes.

Quieren censura? Vean la primera serie de Yugioh de 4 kids, la censura llega a niveles ridiculos (todavía no entiendo cómo no censuraron a Zork "verga de dragón" Necrophades)

Y no sólo la serie, las cartas sufren mucha censura en el paso de OCG al TCG, y no sólo es por lo sexy de algunas cartas.
